Print advert: Editing

At this stage the picture had been imported to adobe photoshop and a shap placed on one of the tablets

This shows a close up of the tablets with faces on. These were created by using the shape tools with effects applied to them.

This image shows text being imported and wrapped to the shape of the tablet.

The above picture demonstrates how we used effects such as bevel, emboss and shadow to make the shapes and writing appear to be on the tablets. This is to make it look more professional

At this stage we opened a picture of the channel four logo and used the magic want to cut it out and place it on the advert.
This is halfway through the production of the print advert.

The image above shows the label of the bottle being manipulated with the shape tool. This is to make it look like it fits around the bottle and to make it look more realistic. The title and scheduling has also been added with the text tool and a orange rectangle as the background.

This is the completed version of the print advert. Including the slogan.

The image above is what we decided to use on the print advert.

Radio Trailer: Editing

Editing the Radio trailer

The radio trailer was edited on the same software as the documentary. The voice over recording was imported onto the timeline along with the music bed. At this point we were adding in clips from the documentary and removing the video, which would then just leave the audio. We then altered all the sound levels to make it smooth with no point being too loud or to quiet.

Radio Trailer: Scripting

Editing: Editing the Documentary

Editing the Documentary

This screenshot shows all the footage that has been captured from the digital video cameras onto adobe premier pro.

I then filtered through the footage deleting parts that we didnt need and keeping parts we did. On this screengrab above, we are cutting up an interview, cutting out the questions and irrelevant answers. We did this for all the footage that we wanted to use.

The tool that was used to cut up the documentary was the "razor tool" which is shown in the image above. This let us make precise cuts throughout the captured footage.

This screen shot shows the editing software as a whole with the timeline of shots and a viewer in the top left which shows what is on the timeline.

In the above screengrab I am placing cutaways into the documenary to cut up long interviews and avoid jump cuts.

Here I am applying graphics to the interviews with their name and relevance to the documentary

This shows us using the effects such as cross divide to create a montage of archive footage.

This shows us editing in the music bed on the timeline and cutting it up.

Filming: Reactions in assembly

We filmed a sixthform assembly watching clips of funny youtube videos in order to obtain genuine laughter to use throughout the documentary.

We used 4 digital cameras and two directional microphones to pick up the sound and footage.

This also allowed us to film different people, shots and angles.

Here are some pictures of the set up and the filming of the audience.

Below are the youtube clips which we showed in the assembly
